Terms of Service
Last updated: July 29, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Live Video World website and services (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. About the Service
Live Video World ("we", "us", or "our") operates a directory that helps users discover and watch publicly available live webcam and video streams from around the world. Streams are hosted and delivered by third parties (primarily via embedded YouTube players). We do not host, own, control, or guarantee the availability, content, or accuracy of these third-party streams, and their availability may change or end at any time without notice.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.
3. Accounts
Some features (such as saving favorite videos) require an account. When you register, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at the contact address below if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
You may close your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we are required to do so by law.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
- access, scrape, or index the Service using automated means except as permitted by our robots directives;
- interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
- upload or transmit malware, or attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service;
- impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
- use the Service to infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others; or
- circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the Service.
5. Third-Party Content, Links, and Services
The Service displays and links to content and services provided by third parties, including video streams embedded from YouTube (a Google service). Your use of such third-party content and services is subject to the applicable third-party terms and policies, including the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for third-party content and do not endorse it.
6. User Content
You may provide limited content such as a nickname and a profile image. You retain any rights you have in that content. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service to you. You are responsible for ensuring that any content you provide does not violate the rights of others and complies with these Terms.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and software (excluding third-party stream content), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service.
8. Copyright and Takedown Requests
We respect intellectual property rights. Because streams are hosted by third parties, copyright concerns about a stream should generally be directed to the hosting platform (for example, YouTube). If you believe that content made available through our directory infringes your rights, please contact us at the address below with sufficient detail to identify the content, and we will review and, where appropriate, remove the relevant link.
9. Advertising
The Service may display advertising, including ads served by Google AdSense. Advertising helps us keep the Service free. Your interactions with advertisements are governed by the policies of the relevant advertising provider. See our Privacy Policy for details on advertising cookies and your choices.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that any stream will be available, lawful, accurate, or suitable for any purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.
13. Changes to the Service and to these Terms
We may modify or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in the Republic of Korea will have jurisdiction over such disputes.
This choice of law and forum does not deprive you of the protection afforded by mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of the country in which you reside. Where such mandatory local protections apply, they continue to be available to you.
15. General
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision. You may not assign these Terms without our prior consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
