Virtual Railfan’s live train cameras at Plant City, Florida, overlook the junction of CSX’s A Line and S Line, hosted by the Robert W. Willaford Railroad Museum and the City of Plant City. Located 25 miles east of Tampa, this feed captures the A Line (former Atlantic Coast Line) between Tampa and Orlando, the S Line (former Seaboard Air Line) between Tampa and Jacksonville, and the CSX Plant City Subdivision running south to Fort Myers and Naples. Amtrak’s Silver Star (trains #91 and #92) passes through twice daily, totaling four movements. The viewing platform is at milepost 861 on the A Line and milepost 823 on the S Line. Viewers can expect a mix of CSX freight traffic—manifest, intermodal, and locals—along with Amtrak passenger trains.
The Robert W. Willaford Railroad Museum offers a two-story viewing platform and a collection of vintage railroad equipment and historical artifacts. Note: The flashing red light to the right on the PTZ camera is from a cell phone tower, not the railroad signal.
